Refunds
In effect since 13 September 2026.
If the rewrite was not worth $29, you have seven days from your purchase to say so and get your money back. No argument, no form, and you keep the text.
How to ask
Reply to any email we sent you — the rewrite itself, or the follow-up three days later — and say refund. That is the whole procedure. If you would rather start a fresh email, write to mike@gearyworks.com from the address you bought with, or quote the order reference from the bottom of your rewrite email.
You do not have to give a reason and we will not ask you for one. If you want to tell us what was wrong we would like to hear it, but it is not a condition of anything.
The seven days
The window is counted from when you paid, not from when the email reached you, and the exact date is printed in the rewrite email itself so you never have to work it out. Ask on the last day and it still counts.
After seven days, write to us anyway. It stops being a rule and becomes a judgement call, and the judgement is usually yes.
How the money comes back
Polar is the merchant of record for the purchase, so the refund is issued through Polar to the card you paid with, including any tax they charged. How quickly it appears is your bank’s business, not ours — usually a few working days. There is no subscription to cancel and no account to close, because there never was one.
If the rewrite failed rather than disappointed
That is a different thing and it should not cost you a refund. Each order is good for three rewrites, and a run that fails on our side gives the attempt straight back, so reloading the page tries again for free. If it keeps failing, email us with the order reference from the error message and you will get the rewrite by hand — or your money back, whichever you would rather have.
Same answer if you paid and no email ever arrived. Tell us and we will send it. A paying customer with an empty inbox is our problem to fix.
